Over 14 years ago, Malin flew from Sweden to Texas searching for something she couldn't find at home: a high-quality reining Quarter Horse.
She walked into a barn, and a horse walked straight up to her and pressed his muzzle gently against her forehead. That was Trash. Love at first sight. No question about it.
Trash flew home to Sweden with Malin, and he changed everything. He's the reason she bought her 22-acre farm, complete with an indoor arena and stables. He's the reason she started breeding reining horses in Sweden.
Every Forest Needs a Guardian!
Today, Trash is living his best life in the forest, where he watches over the herd alongside Shanaya. The younger horses look to him. The foals learn from him. He's earned the title fans know him by: King of the Forest.
Whether Malin is brushing his mane at the end of a long day or watching him stand tall among the Swedish pines, he reminds her why she started this journey in the first place. He's not just a horse. He's family.
