Lavendel

The foal who came back to life. Lavendel’s story began in 2020 with a dramatic entrance. She wasn’t breathing when she was born, so we had to turn her upside down and shake life into her. Maybe that’s why she grew up believing she was more of a dog than a horse. She followed me everywhere in the pasture, always at my side, and I even called her my little “guide dog” for the herd. One Christmas she joined me in the kitchen, happily “helping” with the holiday preparations. From that very first breath in my arms to seeing her become the most perfect and gentle mother, our journey together has been nothing short of magical. Lavendel will always be my soulmate, my Loving Lavendel.
